 A Question on Item Placement.
Ok, well I saw on tesnexus this Imperial Dragon Cape, and I was like, hey, I'd be nice to have a cape to go with my champion armor. However, the author of the mod only placed the meshes and textures in the file, leaving me to make an .esp for it. So, Im wondering how do you place a item ingame like that?

1.open CS 2. open File/ data 3. load Oblivion esm 4.in the object window open clothing (double click) 5. left click 6.choose new (right click) 7. in the window which will show up ...give an ID (must be unique...for example GBWCape ), name ( which will be shown ingame...for example Dragon Cape)..weight and value ( should be clear )....enable playable .... for a cape try tail for biped....then add nif file ( look for your meshes and doublecklick )...the same with the world model ( this is the gnd mesh)..and the icon ...when ready click ok.... 8. safe youe esp

well, actually i've hardly left my bed today, as I have the flu. ugh.
anyways. how do i actually put the item ingame. Because i tried just putting it on the floor in the tiber septim hotel, and nothing happened. and then i tried to place it in the inventory of the lady who owns the place, but it didnt show up ingame.

Re: A Question on Item Placement.
I guess you mean these big yellow !
this is a sign for missing meshes...this sounds like you have created a cape , but have missing meshes... you need two meshes the first one is for the cape you are wearing ( biped model) this mesh has the ending ...Nif the second mesh is for the cape puting it somewhere (world model) ...the world model mesh must have the ending _gnd.Nif...
