indeed it is a freaking awesome mod... nobodies oblivion should be without it imo

Yeah I need to DL it again, my 1st time I DLd open better cities, I need to go and DL the non-open version, see if that hits my PC too hard preformance wise.

Problem got resolve when I installed AWLS

there will be something of a hit with BC. Just warning you.

Conflicts between Better Cities and The Elder Council are as follows:
1) In the IC Market District, a skoomer user is placed in the same location as a BC tree. Oblivion typically snaps all NPCs to the nearest pathgrid node upon cell load, so this NPC should automatically get repositioned away from the tree anyway.
2) In the IC Arboretum, one rat spawn x-marker is placed over the pond added by BC. Since rats can swim, this doesn't matter.

End of conflict report.

The FPS hit from OBC is much harsher than BC, so there's a good chance that BC will be fine for you - there are also FPS patch ESPs included with the mod, which attempt to improve the FPS hit. Only use these if you still find it unplayable without them though.

OBC Raped my computer.

But it was worth it. Totaly.

I visited all the cities before deactivating it, at least.


Very pretty, the only issue was each NPC had a clone, ditto some items, virtualy all vanilla store signs for example.

You installed it wrong then. If anything was duplicated, then everything was duplicated. If everything was duplicated then it's no surprise that your PC couldn't handle it. There is absolutely zero possibility of OBC duplicating NPCs, items or store signs if correctly installed.

In that case I'll try it again, prehaps I activated a wrong .esp or something I guess. (or rather a right one AND a wrong one)

Very likely BC and OBC both offer modularity. You can either use parts of the mod, or all of the mod. If you want parts, you choose from a number of separate ESPs. If you want all, you choose a single large merged ESP. But if you use the merged ESP as well as any of the separate ESPs, you're duplicating the mod, as the merged ESP contains all of the separate ESPs. But OBC is no longer supported, while BC is still supported. BC has received a number of great updates since OBC updates were frozen.
