Post Bit of a small request
I was mucking around merging QTP3, and a bunch of other retex packages, with the main oblivion texture BSA. Everything went brilliantly, with a few alterations to the main INI file, I now have 3 uncompressed oblivion texture BSAs and a modified mesh bsa.

Downside... I deleted the Qarl folder, containing 2 DDS files, thinking I didn't need them (qchorrolxxxxx.dds), but it turns out that 1 of them was for the FG basement door in Cheydinhal (probably for all of the FG basement doors), and I think the other is a window (not sure though)

Anyway, rather than me downloading the whole QTP3 package again, I was wondering if anyone who had QTP3 could pm me the 2 missing DDS files ;D

I don't seem to have any textures whose file name begins qchorrol...
Are you sure they're from QTP3?

textures\Qarl\Qchorroldoor01.dds is one of the files

EDIT: oh crap it might be from improved doors and flora... in which case it would be easier to download

hmm, that folder has not been installed in my Data folder, I'm not sure they're really needed. I'm using "Qarl Texture Pack 3 Redimized and further reduced" rather than the standard package. The textures are in the archive, they just weren't put into my game when I installed it.

ooh I was looking for the other missing texture, thinking it was my merging that caused it, but I think I've actually come across a slight bug in Better Cities :o


the mesh "textures\architecture\bettercitiesresources\cheydinhal\cheydinhal01hall.nif" referes to "textures\architecture\cheydinhal\CheydinhalWindow01L.dds" not sure if this a typo, but the dds isn't in the original oblivion textures, nor both the BC BSAs. (36: NiTriShape ChorrolFightersGuild01Hall:16L)

The _far.nif is okay though

maybe I shouldn't mention BC here tho :/

Whats wrong with BC ?

Great mod, tho heavily incompattable with certain other mods unfortunitly.

Almost impossible for it not to be incompatible with other mods just from the shear amount of stuff that it edits. Same thing applies to the UL mods. Not exactly a bad thing, just a fact that one should be aware of.

I wasn't implying there was anything wrong with it, it just occured to me that it maybe in poor taste to start poking Vor about BC in another forum, thats all ;)

TBH tho I don't think it is a problem with BC, I sure don't remember those missing textures before, but I know for a fact the missing dds file isn't and couldn't have been a part of the original game textures (there's no way I'd delete them). I'm just finding it a bit strange, and its used in more than 1 mesh.

If anyone else knows the whereabouts of "textures\architecture\cheydinhal\CheydinhalWindow01L.dds" I'd be very grateful.

PS I changed the troublesome meshes to point to CheydinhalWindow01.dds but they get no reflection hence it made me believe BC was at fault.

I wasnt implying anythign bad with BC, freaking awsome mod.

Actualy it'd be cool if DC could get premession to either make a patch so BC can be used with TEC, as it'd add a LOT of flavor to the world.
