I posted this on The Skyrim Blog in response to another post but think this could be worked into a story tying into Skyrim.

Through the use of a mod my character had become the Countess of Kvatch she ruled her people with firmness but love, married her Nord companion and raised a fairly large group of children and by the time of Titus Mede had quite a number of grandchildren. She would be in her sixities. Her castle was quite neat with rows of exhibit cases in the main hall all filled with item not only from Tamriel but the Shivering Isles. She also had mannequins with various armour and robes which she had collected. Kvatch would have regained its eminence under her wise rule. Traders went out to all the other cities and returned with much desired luxuries. She graciously accepted the rule of Titus Mede and her descendants hold high positions throughout Cyrodil. Her husband died and she retired to The Shivering Isles and is probably there to this day.

The suggestion was made that her many times great grand child will find him/herself imprisoned somewhere in Skyrim and so the legend continues.

Did her Nord husband accept the dancing boy all right?

It is after all myy story so we will add a dancing girl for him or switch them back and forth if you think we should stay true to the mod. Of course he was madly in love with Countess so maybe didn't care. Besides he was busy. ROTFLMAO She had a lot of children with him. So he ended up leading her troops to clean out all those confounded bandits that keep popping up. Necromancers were still around too. Yep he was very busy.

hehe. Just remembering how much she loved the dancing boy (to watch, not touch), I just thought I'd check.

But then, she is the Countess, he is only the consort, so I guess he would have been aware of the castle dynamics before he decided to father her children. Since he gets to continue playing hero after the marriage, I guess he can't complain too much. And, at least in Oblivion, the Nords seemed pretty confident in their ability to hang onto their significant others. In fact, the women sounded a bit more possessive than the men, but that could just be because men did most of the programming.

Hehe, Yes, she enjoyed watching. I found the Nord men in Oblivion very sexy. I even got one of Slof's adult costumes for him. Did have a screenshot, now lost, didn't dare post it to PhotoBucket or FaceBook. Kvatch Aftermath will also be a very special mod for me. I think you are right the Nord men would enjoy being heroes and he would have a lot of perks. My Countess would treat him with great love and respect. I see her as smarter than he is but very womanly. She would turn the heroeing part over to him an concentrate on building up the city and raising her children. Then she also has Shivering Isles to deal with. Since she is very sane and sensible that should be interesting. A sane Mad God ruling a bunch of crazies. Art of all kinds would be important. As far as I know the gate to SI is still open so people would be wandering in from time to time. How will she handle that? The gate guard is still there. That border town, don't remember its name, would build up and she might arrange to let a few people slip through the gates and take up residency in SI. Some interesting possibilities there.

This could get to be quite a saga if I have time.

But, it could be fun to read. So, feel free to write more whenever you get the chance.

First person saga forth coming from the mod Kvatch Aftermath created and developed by a certain modder.

Blast I have forgotten her name. What is a good female Breton name? Sort of a cross between English and French I think. How does Nowena sound?

Some are even true and I will not dwell on those events but tell the story of my own personal life."

You could. I used "Brigitta" for my character while playing, though. Sounds French even if it isn't.

Thank you. Nowena it is as it makes it a bit more fun. Nowena will go down in Dragon Captions annals as the Heroine of Kvatch. Good.

what is the use of a good skyrim mod if i do not include a tale of the blind countess of kvatc? after the untimely death of the Count and Hero of kvatch, he named Baroness Nakia Countess due to the lack of an heir to take his throne.

hehe of course there will be the return of some Knight of Respawn in Skyrim in addition to the Continuation of the Saints Tale Storyline... Skyrim is 200 years in the future, but dark elves can live for hundreds of years.... just so happened to be that the main character was a young dark elf i think i can see believable possibilities here

but these are just ideas on the wall right now... i still need to convert the respawn chronicles into a true story but hey all things in due time
