Post Double NPCs and disappearing and reappearing NPCs in Sutch?
I was given the quest to look for Max and to go see Lisa. When I found her she was disappearing and then reappearing in the air and would float down to where I could talk to her, which I did.
Then when following on with the quest (which I will try not to spoil) the next two important NPCs were doing the same thing. Coming back to Sutch to see Lisa again she was not there and Connan would not show any new dialouge.

I also have two instances (so far) of double NPCs trying to occupy the same location in the town of Sutch.

I reinstalled DCURP and Sutch 8.0, and still the same thing.
I have the CURP.esm loading second and Sutch reborn loading last.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, Sutch 8.0 was a big project and had some very nice things, but the development stopped and the project is now somewhat parked in the fridge/abandoned.
This because there were some unrecoverable corruptions in it. (Dependent/successor quests not starting and some other issues.)

A new County Sutch mod is currently being created, but it will take quite a while before it's released.
If you want to help, ask around in the forum where/with what you can help: beta testing/scripting, writing quest-stories, etc.

Maybe one of the lead modder/designer can provide some more info on this.

I believe NPCs disappearing and popping back into view up in the air is caused by floating pathgrids. I could be wrong, but I think this is the cause - they cannot reach the pathgrid node from the ground so eventually the game just teleports them up there so that they can continue to wherever they're going. But then due to there being nothing to stand on they immediately drop back to the ground again without actually reaching the node, so get teleported up AGAIN and again and again...

When you say double NPCs, do you mean there is a clone of the same NPC (same appearance, same name) or that two NPCs are continuously pushing into each other trying to stand on the same spot? If clones, then this would simply have been a mistake in the mod, the same NPC has been accidentally placed twice into the game world. If two different NPCs are pushing each other out of the way, then this is due to them both having AI Packages instructing them to wander or travel 0 distance from an x-marker or similar target object. With distance of zero they are effectively being instructed to stand on that spot. And since there's two of them, one is pushing the other off the spot so that he can stand on the spot, causing the first one to now push the second one off the spot so that he can get back onto it, causing the second one to push the first one....

The double NPCs are in fact clones. I will try and list exactly which ones are doing this to try and help out.

oh there are 2 of every mages guild member ebcuase there are 2 mages giuld, and that is an issue that i never fixed :P hehe

im curerntly working on version 8.1 of sutch reborn... vorians... i think u might be able to help me a bit more with this than i could on my own...

but yes the mages giuld npcs are duplicated, and im working on removing the bad edits from the old sutch mods, aswell as chaning some things for an idea i have with it :)
