Most of you may know Equip Windows like in Diablo 2 and Dungeon Siege. Or like in Morrowind.
I would like something like that in Oblivion, i hope they bring it back in TES5...

I'm pretty sure that i'm not the first one who ever asked this, so apparently there is something preventing this Mod from being made. What is it?

Well, then you would have to design a completly new menu
window... wich i dont think can be done with cs. Since like you said it has never been done:P

Equip windows? Isn't that the inventory window? I've played Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege and Morrowind, and I have no memory of any special Equip Window in any of those games other than the inventory window. What am I forgetting from these games exactly?

In Dia2 you got a window with a "doll"- your inventory, were you can equipt armor, boots, wepons etc etc..
Like, you equipt armor on the chest, and helmet on the head... and sword on your arm. Atleast thats what i think he means

to get this done (btw u still ahve the "doll" in ob,) but to change teh whole invatory window, it would require major reworks on the games inner coding, and engines... something only beth could do... something that would require actuly using of code, in watever langue ob is writen in (which is C++ or # if im not mistaken)

so the short answer is ob has the doll, to euqip stuff on, its just done diffrently than morrowind, and no, u couldnt change the invatory... easly.. anyway

In the games i've mentioned there is a little extra Window with a Doll of your Character, where you could drag stuff from your inventory window onto the Doll of your Character. The Doll is just for the anatomical representation. The Curias Piece lands where it is on the Body, as do the other equipment Pieces. The equipped Pieces will be no longer in your Inventory as they are equipped in the Equip window.
The Pieces that are equipped are cluttering my Inventory :/

hehe, figuring out what to carry and what not to is always a pain, but creates a limit to the game that makes it more of a challenge, imo.

But if you want to carry everything, you could try this mod, that's called Carry All You Want...http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5118

I haven't played it, but it seems to give you the most carrying capacity.

i get wat ur meaning, like morrowinds invatory system was, yes, i understand you...

and it would be imposible, or next to... to be abel to make something like that for TES IV, maybe TES V...

You'd have a better chance of asking for a mod that hides all equipped items in your inventory, with a toggle button to display it or not. This is (I believe) possible to create, and offers the same result you're after, without the almost certainly impossible task of creating a new user-menu for equipped-item slots.

Another Idea would be a mod like that "Keychain" thingy. All my equipped Armor would go in there.
Well, to be even more basic and more minimalistic then any Game of this Kind has ever been:
How about something that keeps all equipped Items on top or bottom of "all Items" List?
What annoys me the most is that i accidently sold some of my Stuff because it was just lying around under all the Clutter. So i had to buy my Pieces back at a ridiculous Price.

Sometimes i like too enchant all my items to give names like "aRing" so all my Stuff would stay together instead of being flooded by all the Crap i pick up. Furthermore its annoying when you picked a ruin clean and have Stuff with feather enchantment that you like to wear now to transport all the Stuff out.
Well, trying to find all the featherstuff under the piles of Loot is annoying.


So, something that stuffs my equip in a extra Pocket would be nice, but something that just keeps all my equipped stuff from floating around on the vast Sea of Loot in my Inventory would be greatly appreciated.
