 Happy Holidays
Season's Greetings! I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday, whatever you celebrate. For me, the holiday is Christmas, and it's been a special year for me: it has made me realize how much I miss all of the friends I don't keep in contact with anymore (there are quite a few). Hope that everyone is doing as well as I am. Since I first got a message 5 or so months ago about the DC revival, I've been meaning to come over to chat. I've browsed through the topics on here a couple of times as a guest, but wasn't ready to commit to logging in, or contributing. But late is better than never, as I frequently say. I might still only be a sporadic visitor, but I'll do my best. At least I can play a game or two. Warm wishes, Misnomer

 Re: Happy Holidays
It is great to hear from you, Misnomer. How is everything? May you have a wonderful Christmas. Please do drop by from time to time. Are you on FaceBook? That is a good lace to keep in touch with people.

 Re: Happy Holidays
Hi, Misnomer. Good to see you back and please do have a Merry Christmas yourself.
Have you caught the Skyrim bug, too?

 Re: Happy Holidays
Hi Nakia and Nowena! Glad to see you are both still checking on things here Everything is going pretty well for me. Not career-wise yet, but my personal life is better than I would have thought. If you didn't already know, I had a beautiful baby girl recently, so my personal time has taken some serious cutbacks. And any long blocks of my free time are usually spent playing Skyrim. So I guess the answer is yes, I have caught the bug, haha. I'm trying to reorganize my priorities, and yes, I got sucked into FB, Nakia, but I'm trying to limit my time there...it's part of the reason I didn't get on here sooner. How are things with you, Nowena and Nakia? And with your characters in Skyrim, hehe. I'm a thief-mage...or a magical thief, who has recently taken a turn to the dark side. Killing skooma dealers and travelers, helping evil daedra, and other general fun. Cheers, Misnomer

 Re: Happy Holidays
Check out our Skyrim chat thread. Nowena and I are exchanging things there and Kosh pops in and out. It is a really great game. You did tell us about the new baby. They do take up a lot of time and deserve to do so. Oh I am of course on Steam, nakiarogue.

 Re: Happy Holidays
Congratulations Misnomer!
Setting a new life in the world is not an easy task, but always brings a lot of joy in life. Nice that you still manage to let us hear from you from time to time and even play our favorite game. Hope you have a fine and happy christmas and a very smooth new year.
Of course best wishes in advance to the rest of the group as well.

 Re: Happy Holidays
Ah Misnomer! I haven't been very active again these past months, but I am glad to see you still giving this place a chance, I personally think DC is due for a resurrection.
Construction kit for Skyrim isn't even out yet so I do not expect many to show up until then, hmm.

 Re: Happy Holidays
Yes. I think there are plans being plotted and waiting only for the CK to come out. I believe you did tell us about the baby, Misnomer, but I think I forgot or missed knowing it was a girl. Wonderful and congratulations. I think she is very lucky that she was born into a good family. My Skyrim character is a Breton mage who is far more interested in exploring the world than in killing dragons. (Those things hurt!!) She has acquired a war dog and a palomino horse. The two were leery of each other to begin with, but now they seem to enjoy fighting as a team. And, she has joined both the Mage's college and the Bard's college. She has always had a strong desire for higher learning. I think she would make a good fighting priestess if that class were open. She is particularly fond of Kynareth and Mara.

 Re: Happy Holidays
When I get time, I'm going to try and read through the Skyrim thread. If you would have asked me 2 years ago, if I'd be playing the new ES game everyday, I would have asked you if you were joking. I last played on Sunday, if that's any indication of the amount of 'extra' time I have. But I'm making a New Year's Resolution to keep in touch with the people who really matter...so expect me, unexpectedly! hehe Thanks Kosh, it certainly does bring me more joy than I ever expected. I'm not the typical nurturing maternal figure, but even though I held off from being a mom until I turned 35, I find that it suits me, and makes me happy. Ronin, I hope we'll all be able to visit here more often. I certainly know everyone is busy over the holidays, but a few quips now and again would be fun, wouldn't it? Thank you so much, Ronin, Kosh, Nowena and Nakia for keeping DC's heart beating! You gave me something to come back to, and I'm grateful that you did. You have a war dog, Nowena? I wonder, is it like the war dogs in DA? Don't tell me, actually, I LOVE the surprises while I'm playing. I've tried my hardest to stay away from any of the main quests, I'm having some devilish fun...but we'll talk more when I get over to your Skyrim section. For the moment, I'll try to keep up with the General Thread, and get back into the habit of checking in on DC regularly. Nakia, I'm on Steam as MissGnomer1...hehe. I played a gnome on WoW for quite awhile, a little partial to them..enjoyed the pun. Talk to everyone tomorrow (I hope), Misnomer
