I find trying to traverse Bioware's site a nightmare. It literally gives me a headache. I have managed to download some of the official mods and get them working but with difficulty.

I have been able to download a few user made mods but then have had problems installing them.

Could some one give a simple but detailed guide as to how this is done?

Yes, please. If anyone feels up to it. I'd love to see such a guide myself.

Some mods are clearer than others. I even had trouble with the DLCs from Bioware. I bought s couple using points and they disappeared then later came back so I did end up getting them but not right away. I was hoping there was a rule of thumb for things on Bioware and for things that were found elsewhere, IE: NEXUS for instance.

Yeah. I haven't bought any from Bioware, but I heard about the problems. Plus, I've heard of the regular mod loading problems, too. If there are directions in the mods themselves, perhaps they aren't always clear. I would love to see someone who is experienced tackle this problem - written perhaps like a blog - on this site. It would be very helpful.
