I can't become a tax collector...?

 I can't become a tax collector...?I just made a fresh level 1 wizard, and decided to start off by becoming a tax collector. However, upon reaching the accountant, I only get the Rumors option. Am I supposed to rank up within the Legion first?

You may be able to find light armor, also all you need to wear is the currias, light arour used to be found in Guards of Cyrodiil and Fort Akatosh, but they no longet support TEC, you can go into the CS and find it in DCRP, and place the light currais somewhere in a chest

Re: I can't become a tax collector...? Hmm. I play a mage and I haven't found much trouble from the legion cuirass. I still use my spells quite effectively. Course, I do equip a different sword and gain my extra *protection points* with the boots and gloves.

Re: I can't become a tax collector...? Yeah at lower levels the proficiency in spell casting is affected by the skill of wearing any type of armor. If it's below 50% (journeyman) the spell casting ability is way below 95% and spells happen to misfire more often...

Re: I can't become a tax collector...? hehe orginaly tec required you to wear the full legion uniform... i still think it should be that way to be hoenst, but i also think there should have been a light armor option to it aswell... but my vote wasnt weighed in on the decsions for tec...

Re: I can't become a tax collector...? That's cheating, Doom. And, a level 1 mage probably hasn't progressed far enough to have the teleporter.
