I'm here I'm not ~queer (like it matters)...Get USED TO IT!!
Just want to say hi to the modders (who have made Oblivion SOOOO cool to explore) and the gamers (like myself). Little about myself... Have a family and a house cookie cutter white picket fence the whole nine yards... Well life wasn't always so predictable. I lived in Italy under the US Navy Guild for six years; came back to the states for my education; started having little ones; discovered Morrowind on the Xbox and soon after bought the PC version; made some changes to the game to fit my style and added some NPCs and qualities where Bethesda seemed to intend to but never did (like placing Cinia Urtius in the game; she's in the list of NPC's but not actually in the world, which was frustrating when I was trying to find the only master Medium Armor trainer in the game! Additionally, the NPC that was supposed to handle master Armorer training wasn't even a trainer, so I cleaned that up). Waited FOREVER for the next installment; nearly wet myself at the announcement of Oblivion launch in '06. I've been playing the game on and off ever since... Until I found some videos on youtube that showed off some of the awesome mods made for TES IV and it got me stoked again; I've been neglecting my other games for months now and I'd say I have put a good couple months worth of hours solely into the series (thousands of hours easily). So I'm ultimately posting my intentions about getting into Oblivion Modding. Anyone have any ideas about who gives a good tutorial on the subject? I know I'm in the general topic area so feel free to reply about any and all things related to this world or the other!

hi SigonellaPC3, welcome to the forums. If you have any questions then continue to ask. Here is a complete " tutorial" page, do not know if that´s what you´r looking for, if not say out loud http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/in ... n_Mods_FAQ Yugi PS the site can be rather complex.

ah, always good to see more modders out there the dragon captions team, is an open team, that means anyone who wants to join only needs to ask.. for begginers... my best advice is to... just play around with the cs, and try things out... shift key... this is what u use to look around the cs world... really nice feautre.. scroll is zooming, arrow keys move u around aswell.. just some notes... if u have any specifc questions i can help... and if not im sure the wiki has it... just might be a little harder to find... good luck, and hope to see you around here a good bit

Re: I'm here I'm not ~queer (like it matters)...Get USED TO IT!!
SigonellaPC3 to the forums Yugi, your linkie isn't working for me. It's happened to me before, maybe it's the same for you: if you preview your message before posting it, and it has a website addy on it, the system changes your addy in your post so that the link doesn't work. If you just post it, without previewing it, the system will abbreviate the addy, but in the post itself, the addy will be whole and the link will work. That happened to me a few times, anyway. I think what Yugi wanted show you was this site, Sigonella http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/in ... /Main_Page which is pretty thorough. We also have a few tutorials in the Oblivion Mod-Maker Help forum, which is a good place to read questions other people have had. oblivion-mod-maker-help-f10.htmlAlso, if you have any trouble while going through those guides, you can post any questions you have there. Hope that helped, look forward to seeing you around Misnomer

Don't know much about google chrome, I'm pretty happy using Firefox so haven't really used any others, Yugi. Maybe if you try the actual url tags? Just posting the site works fine for me, but maybe if you tag it, it won't abbreviate.

Re: I'm here I'm not ~queer (like it matters)...Get USED TO IT!!
I havent used IE regularly in I dont know how many years, 6-7 or more proably (other than when I was in the army and on a Govt PC, then was stuck with IE and it sucked)
What I really dont like is googles devices that use cloud computing.
It seems utterly retarded to have NO ability to access your stuff if you cant get online. And what if they screw up and dont process a check on time and cut you off, suddenly BOOM you loose EVERYTHING (I can allready see the lawlsuits this will spawn)

Re: I'm here I'm not ~queer (like it matters)...Get USED TO IT!!
Thanks for all the help... I can see I found the right place . I'll be around with plenty of questions I'm sure, but you guys have given me a solid beginning. I'm on IE8 and it hasn't steered me wrong btw; my wife swears by firefox. Probably will all be moot when 7 debuts next month (I know, but hey, I've been hoping for the OS to beat all OS since 3.1. They came close with XP, but then technology passed it by). Anyone remember when the Weezer video shipped with Windows '95? All together now... OOOH EE OOOH I look just like Buddy Holl eee...OH OH and you're Mary Tyler Moore...I don't care what they say about us anyway, I don't care 'bout that. (Sorry)...
