Went to Whiterun and bought some plants from the alchemist there. Breezhome isn't great for plant decoration but I placed two with no problem and took the rest to Sky Haven Temple and stuck them in various locations. Everything worked fine.

Great. Thanks. I want to get some for The Reserve, but I've been a little distracted of late. Finished working for the title of Thane in Riften and eager to finish exploring Markarth. Plus, I'm considering getting married. There's an interesting nord smith there in Riften who's catching my eye. Considering I spend so much time wandering around adventuring, it might be nice to have someone settled that I can get together with. I'm thinking of asking whether or not he's a good cook.

He is a friendly one, that-one. Especially after finishing his request for his forge.

I am a thane now in several cities. Windhelm won't be for a long time, I think, because I am still not choosing sides in the civil-war.
Falkreath could be a problem, because of my CTD-issues there on several locations. Note to self: will have to follow-up on this one, to get that sorted out.

I noticed an interesting house mod: The Boulders.

Saw it in Steam Workshop (only place it's found, I think). Mainly, it intrigues me for the bathing/shower area. That looks absolutely beautiful. I'm tempted to subscribe just to see what it looks like ingame. There's a quest to get it.

Oh. I have the same problem with Windhelm, Kosh. But, I haven't been to Falkreath. My computer's old. Maybe I should travel down there and just see if I have the same problem. Currently, I am thane in Whiterun, Solitude, Riften, and Morlath. Houses and housekarls in three of those.

You two are way ahead of me. Only thane in Whiterun and Winterhelm. Only one vanilla house. I got distracted by Sky Haven Temple. I think modding may be more intereresting than playing the game. Although it can be frustrating too.

Seriously it is a lot of work just at the low level I am. Friend Emu sent me some instructions. I almost fell off my chair. He says they only take 2 or 3 minutes once you know what you are doing. Takes longer to write them especially when you are speaking Grandma Rogue language. The game is a lot of fun but modding it is more fun. Especially when you have a fun friend to help.

I haven't tried modding yet, but I am testing out some of the stuff I've found.

Added three new mods last night. One is to give your companions a "chill out" order. It adds a dialogue topic, "We'll stay here for awhile", so your companions can relax at whatever location you're at without having to release them or make them stand in guard mode. They will then stay at the location and sit down, sleep, eat, or whatever their AI tells them they want to do. Tried it out and it works fine. Lydia now looks much, much more comfortable in Arch Mage's quarters.

Also added new snow textures just to see how they looked. Can't tell much difference as yet. If I don't notice remarkable difference soon, I will probably remove it to leave room for other things.

Third mod I added was Imp's Hunger/Thirst/Sleep mod. Haven't actually loaded it yet, though, as I was at the bottom of a dwemer ruin at the time. Probably not a good location to get comfortable with a Hard Core edition.

I was wondering about that Companions Relax mod. I am a little leery of adding mods until the CK is fixed. Except for texture mods. When you install the Hunger/thirst/sleep mod let me know how it works. I never liked any of the sleep mods in Oblivion I found them intrusive. I like the Hunger mods so let me know if you can choose what you want. I also like mods that affect the stamina. You shoudn't be able constantly run.

Interesting, I was wondering when they would pick that up. Now I may even give her some food and drink and tell her to rest.
I tried it before, but the supplies I gave her never depleted and I never saw her eat or drink.

I since have Lydia sit on a chair or something, because when I order her to go to sleep, there is a glitch in the A.I.:
The moment I that I exit leave command-mode, she gets up from the bed again.
Having her sit in a chair does not trigger that behavior in vanilla Skyrim.
