Im Working on the layout for my first mod. As far as structure goes.
Im trying to get some triggers working and things but its just turned into a mess.

Copy/pasting is definitely the way to go if you are new at scripting, and even if you are not nearly so new at scripting. Just find a script that does almost the same thing, copy it, and edit whatever you need to.
