Well it started in June 1997 when Microsoft decided to invest with comcast, the thing that got me into this was the awesome microsoft mediaroom software, but theres no hope for me for that now not unless I switch to at&t, I've heard a lot of complaints about comcast, and shockingly I have to agree with them, me and my dad actually threatened to quit comcast months ago, some idiot on the customer service actuallly fell asleep, had a lazy attitude, and only helped us at last minute, the only thing that kept us with them was their fast speeds, otherwise he would have went to at&t

I'm guessing Microsoft moved either because Comcast made a big deal out of something from the service, or it's perhaps Microsoft just isn't interested in Comcast anymore, whether the cause, a lot of people say this is one of the smart moves Microsoft has made, although, it hurts users like me that has comcast personally, I hate the on demand and tv guide, it just doesn't have any innovation or life.. And to tell the truth, it looks like Microsoft is actually doing good on it's own without comcast o_O (Go MS!!!)

And this is a sure thing, many expect comcast to bankrupt and close soon, well I guess it shows what happens and what it says about your product when Microsoft doesn't even want a piece of it.


On the bright side, it looks like their adding the tv thing to the xbox 360, who says you can't have too much media
