 Re: Real Life Rambles
The day before he left for Japanese camp, my son was stalking a rabbit in our yard. I think it was leading him on. He would get within about 10 feet of it, it would hop off and wait for him to get within 10 feet of it. This lasted for about 2 minutes. It was absolutely hysterical to watch. It did get rid of some of his excess energy.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
ysne58 , That is funny just to read. How old is your son?
Let us know how he does in camp and what he did. It sounds really great.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
Interesting day. Started off about 7AM to a rather unpleasant be beginning and got gradually worse. Internet Explorer decided to have a nervous breakdown. I had installed SKYPE in order to talk to a long time Internet friend only to find it wasn't properly installed. Finally got it working and we talked for several hours. So the late afternoon and early evening was quite pleasant and enjoyable.
SKYPE is free to download and free if your are talking to other SKYPE members. It is easy to install and configure. I learned a few new things today. If you use the share screen feature be careful what you share and to whom you share it.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
I have been considering downloading Skype. It seems to be getting very popular.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
It is perfect for me. I don't have to read and I don't have to write things that end up being gibberish. Three days of pleasantly cool weather. Two of them wee gorgeous, one overcast. Back to the hot humid weather this week.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
Rain, Beautiful blessed Rain. Finally. A nice steady, gentle one. Now if it only lasts for an hour or so at least the grass and other vegetation will have chance.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
We got a good, long rain the day before yours (on the 17th), but unfortunately we hit by a microburst during the first part of the storm and it brought down several trees. One came close to knocking out an apartment down the street. But, the rain was very refreshing, particularly to my yard. I'm hoping we will get several more before the season ends.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
The Weatherfolk are still promising us rain but no luck. At least it is a little cooler. It is 18 C here, whatever that is in Fahrenheit. Don't know why my weather decided to go British or European. I think the high yesterday was around 88 F. Once again rain is promised but hasn't gotten here.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
Believe it or not, it is still August here and the forecast says upper 90's for a high throughout this weekend and next week!!! That's almost unheard of here. We are thinking of pulling out the sweaters.

 Re: Real Life Rambles
Sorry I haven't been around but I have been sick. Am just getting over it now. Will try to be more active in a couple of days.
