that is strange... i assume that means probably owls cove... still holds a dependency on DCRP... ill fix that and re-upload it...

and you need CSRM for testing of new haven and owls cove... in addition to future DC mods...

EDIT: it is new haven that has the dependency still... so what does that mean for testing... i do not have the proper tools on my computer to remove the dependency (gecko) i will try to get a version working... in the mean time you all are free to attempt to do this on your own for the purpose of testing...

Me no modder, I have no tools except in the CS and just use it for for playtesting and getting information to fix things with the console. I have never written anything with it.
I will try Owls Cove again later this week.

You want to remove the dependency of DCRP from Newhaven? Can't this be done in Wrye Bash?
I can give it a try, but the question is, can I do it without consequences, i.e. won't it still crash because of something else?
Ah well, I will give it a try anyway.

i assume you could do it with wyre... i was not aware of which other tools did it (knew there were others)

and if you remove the dependency... it will... erm... 'delete' anything that required something from that package. so it just wont appear... so in deleting this; we just need to see if it has any major issues... if it does fix it; if not release it :)

and if that doesn't make sense don't worry bout it ;) just remove dependence and test it :)

Okay, I see Lefty reports "Island Gamma" has the same issue.

Hold on, some bad news:
When I do this also on "Island Gamma", I get an overload on warnings of references that are going to be removed and it will not continue with the dependency-removal.
So you have to look into that one yourself, Scythe, I think you did not convert the dependencies of DCRP to CSRM just yet, or something like that.

okay... i suppose gamma is not ready for testing... it is just a beta more than anything else and far from release in any way... it was more of a 'load in the cs' and take a look thing ;)

the issues I'm looking for mainly are the juggling balls, and animation issues... need to know if they result in a crash... or npcs just not doing anything...

i have been away most of the weekend (go figure right?) and will look into these said issues asap... if it were not late here i would go ahead and remove the dependency on New Haven myself...

I'm dling the file now that kosh provided... and will look into that... i have bout thirty minutes to myself now that i could spend working on these issues and might as well ;)

EDIT:

in relationship to the records that have now been deleted... those are a good thing and expected... because that is the 'left overs' from the usage and modification of DCRP resources that occurred in New Haven... so those are expected to be there...

i am currently working on the lab computer to dl the version kosh has created and see if it can be ran in the game world...

and testing the usage of the idle animations...

will report my findings back

great news team, the animations seem to be functioning properly in New Haven! so this is a good sign :)

i say to go ahead and try to test the version provided by kosh :)

now i will go and look into the issues with owls cove...
