Are you ready?

Ah, but the hype has been going for at least 6 months now. lol

I have one question: did they say the PC characters are only male this time?

I haven't heard that. I think we have only seen male characters in the screenshots and videos. I will check it out and see if that is true. If it is I will not be happy. The hype was started by the fans. Bethesda just sat back and let them do the work. Smart people there at Bethesda.

I still don't have a definite yes or no answer but I find it hard to think that Bethesda would limit us to only male characters. I did read that there is not much difference between male and female so that sounds as if we can play either.

The level system as been changed. There is no cap. If you enter a dungeon at level 5 it locks at that level but one nearby you may not enter until you are level 10 at that time it will lock at level 10. There is a lot of speculation so weeding out what is fact from Bethesda and what is some one's guess takes care. Right now there is little information coming from Bethesda. I imagine they are fine tuning things and there may be changes between now and 11/11/11. My guess is just as good as your guess at this point.

I don't know where I heard that rumor, but it just kept sticking in my mind. Looks like it was just an idle rumor.

There is all kinds of speculation. Bethesda is playing it smart and giving out crumbs. Of course they want to pull in new players and are focusing on that and letting the fans guessing. They do really seem to have responded to what fans liked and didn't like in Oblivion. They have paid attention to the popular mods and picked up ideas from there so I think it should be a really good game.There will be things that individuals don't like or that they want and modders will fill in the gaps. As you know modders are gearing up for Skyrim. This really does look to be the game of the year. Players are asking for quest DLCs rather than items or the type we got in Oblivion. The want more expansion type mods such as Shivering Isles.
