Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
Thank you , Scythe. That was good to see. Having read so many fantasy stories and sci-fi with a variety of creatures I never had any problem accepting talking, walk on two lega cats and lizards. What bothered me was their hair in Oblivion it was so fake looking. :O Looks more natural in the Skyrim screenshots. It is my opinion that Bethesda has outdone itself with this game. Now if the game play, story, is more Morrowindish I will be an ecstatic player. I look forward to hours and hours of game play.

Here is a YouTube video that shows the transition from Morrowind to Oblivion to Skyrim. No Spoilers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYXolSCj ... re=related

Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
OK. I have experienced Skyrim for a few hours. Lots to see. Lots to do, and lots to learn. I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
my gamestop didnt get the shipment of pc games >.> so i will get a call sometime today about that >.> annoying really >.>
but i have noticed in the past bethesda does games in twos... dagerfall and arena were within a few years of eachother, as were oblivion and morrowind... and i noticed morrowind was better done than oblivion, skyrim is better than oblivion... just thinking there might be another in the near future that will probably lesser than skyrim but relatively close in a frame of time

Don't know how soon the next one will be, but I think Skyrim will give us much to work with for quite some time. I think you're going to like it, Scythe. And, it looks like it will be fairly easy to mod, too.

Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
The latest predictions for the release of the creation-set are somewhere between the 27th of november and early december.
Off topic: My pre-order got botched, so I still got nothing, even though I ordered it two weeks ago. The guy in charge of sales said that their shipment of the PC version was actually hijacked/stolen? He ordered a new shipment, but no game so far, he also couldn't and wouldn't give any predictions as to when it arrived. In the meantime I got hold of the "other" version and am enjoying overall gameplay. (Hopefully my personal copy will arrive soon, or I will cancel the order at that shop and fetch it in a regular store!).

Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
Sorry to hear you are having problems with order, kosh. I have heard other people have had the same or similar problem. My copy came from Amazon and it arrived on the 11th. I didn't expect it until around the 15 th so that was a nice surprise.

Re: TES through the ages (gotta see this!)
I'm sorry to hear that, too, Kosh. I don't know if any shops around here had problems. I downloaded from Steam, but will probably buy the disk when the GOTY edition comes out - hopefully with a few DLCs added. That's my favorite disk to buy. And, in the meantime, I have my Steam edition to play.
The day after release, I did hit the stores looking for a guide to purchase. At the local GameStop store, there was a long line waiting to purchase the game, mostly console version. But, it was fun talking with others in the line. The guy in front of me said that store had a midnight opening to sell the game right after release. He said he came to buy one, but the line was out the building and circled the block! Half a mall away, I walked into a Best Buy store (still looking for my guide) and they had two people standing around thinking about buying the game and a stack left of at least a dozen copies in both PC and 360. hehe. Go figure.
