The Tale of Twilights Gate (Currently in Volume I)
More is planned for the story in volume two
The Tale of Twilight's Gate Volume I: Prequel to an Epic
By Duke Herocon Delphine of Colovia, Count Kvatch
Introduction,
I grew up in Lakewood village, always intrigued by the story of the wonderful city of Kvatch and its county. From the top of my tower I can see all of the land of Anvil, Chorral, The Imperial city, Skingrad, The Highlands, and far more. Though in all, none of these lands could ever even grasp the supreme power, of the Twilight Realm. A young Fighter's Guild member and mage, Antus Pinder had Stumbled upon one of the greatest things in Tamreal, The Twilight Realm. In This volume of books join Saint Pinder into his journey. Into the Twilight Realm. I am one of the few to see the jaws of Oblivion, but nothing could ever measure up to this tale.
The Beginning of the Tale,
In the long dead village of Hermoipolis, a farming community in northern Kvatch county, in the same year, two boys were born. First, Antus Pinder, Son of Priscilla and Arthus Pinder. Priscilla was the cousin of countess Maybell Goldwine, giving Antus royal blood. Arthus was a retired Kvatch guard captain at north tower. The other boy, a altmer, Chivmoornal Hirmarken, was a strong boy, wanting power and control, his entire life. Still, the boys became friends, almost brothers, exploring, adventuring, and learning the necessities of life. When Pinder and Hirmarken were 16, a member of the Psijic Order, Vaden Deth, came to Hermopolis on a expedition to study the bountiful harvests that the town had in the last year. He found a talent, in Chivmoornal, in his biography, Light of the Tower, he explains “This boy has the greatest talent I have ever seen, if controlled and taught correctly, this boy could be a master. Like none other seen before...” Hirmarken went to study at the High Rock School of Magica and the Crystal Tower in Summerset Isle. Antus then had no longer felt the joy of boyhood.
Service to the Legion,
This is a recovered letter sent to Kvatch general Gerald Maxuim.
Dear General Maxuim,
From one soldier to another, I nominate none other than my only son, Antus Pinder to a heroic life of service to our dear empire. Please accept this notion, I swear to you, my son is worthy, the strongest boy in Kvatch county, he knows his way with the blade and bow. He does his chores and duties to the town and his home, a hard worker. Bur most of all he longs for adventure. To explore the unknown and take on the world. When he was young him and a friend would get lost in old forts, caves and mines. He is the legion's dream soldier.
Captain Arthus Pinder, Retired
General Maxuim accepted the boy and sent him to train at Fort Icewatch (at the time not a Skyrim Legion fort but a Imperial one). As his father had predicted, Antus was an excellent soldier, he served in Cyrodiil Skyrim, Bruma, and Morrowind has a footman, and briefly in Topal bay to deal with an indigenous uprising.
In Volume II come to expect Antus Pinder's epic Journey, into Twilight's gate
