 Question regarding the optional DC TEC compatable mods
Question: There seems to be quite a few mods mentiond in the TEC readme that are no longer on the nexus, some like the Ft Akatosh the moder removed pending a re-do apparently (or so I gatherd reading around the forums here) and others just aint there anymore. Sorry if I missed a sticky with links to all, but IS there such a thread ? If not, can someone post a list of all the mods that are desigend to work with TEC, their links (if applacable), and for the ones that are not avalible, add in a status update (IE: down for overhaul, back when moder is done) so folks can quickly get everything they can for this awsome mod ? Also, saying it here cause its my 1st post on this forum........ FREAKING NAISE WORK GUYS! PS:

Thanks for your enthusiasm, Tokra, and  to the forums! Good to see you taking a look around  You don't need Fort Akatosh for TEC, but the older version of Fort Akatosh needed TEC to run. It is no longer available, and I don't believe will be again (but I could be wrong). The newer version of it will be completely independent of TEC, and I'm not sure if it will be compatible or not; it's not released yet. The only things needed for TEC is the DCRP and the official OB and SI patches. There are a few mods that are known to be incompatible with TEC, if you haven't read it already, you can also find it here, in the Dragon Captions FAQ's thread (Section 4): the-dragon-captions-faqs-t9.htmlHope that helped, Tokra Misnomer

From what I gathered on the Nexus, F.A. won't be incompatible, so they can be played together, if it's finished in the near future.

Since I didn't know for sure, I didn't want to say either way. I hope it is compatible when released, it would keep anyone from having to make a decision on which mod to dl. Good to see you around, Kosh

 Tokra. You're fast. It's for first post and I already see a number 80 under your name  I know there was another add-on for TEC, so you could become Emperor but it's not more available and won't be AFAIK... And if you mean the DC TEC it's designed to work with COBL as well.

As for becoming the emporer..... one thing that could prehaps be intergrated into TEC is the main quest. If you've enterd the palace once you take martin to cloud ruler you should have Ocato waiting to talk to you and offer help, then have a small armory avalible with extra weapons/armor, or prehaps just a small room with a bed, non-respawning chest which has a few things. Past that, have other options. Among other things, add new options @ cloud ruler. Allies for Bruma, if you've done things to grow the legion, have the option to get ocato to find some spare troops to send. Another, if your playing a female characther have an option to get knocked up by martin, thus making you the regent as you're carrying the heir to the throne. Of course, this should have a MAJOR drawback as you'll ALWAYS have guards following you, in large numbers. Past that, just fine places to tie the main quest (plus mage/fighter guild quests) into interacting with TEC at times.

very intersting  i think tec could be intertgrated with the mq... with some posstive bounses... just the fact of if the interagte to the main quest dosnt deserver to be its own mod....

That said, the intergration would have to be kept as non-required, you wouldnt HAVE to start teh main quest at any point.\
But yeah, if done rite it could be quite cool.
