I'd like to request a short book be written which DC could use in any mod they wanted, but I want the book for Better Cities. Would it be alright to request writings?

There's a book titled "Fortune-telling for Beginners" which increases the player's Mysticism skill. Currently all it contains is: This book describes in detail how to use crystal balls and tarot cards to tell people's fortunes.
I'd like to have at least a couple of pages actually relating to crystal balls and tarot cards, maybe a tale about someone visiting a wise woman for their fortune to be told.

Neat, requests are allowed! Well if multiple people were to have a go, we'd get multiple books on a similar theme, which would be even better than having just one book. So if Misnomer did choose to give it a go, and you also come up with something, that'd be two books for the request of one, a definite bargain!

Have certain skill books instead of giving a 1time boost, give a boost as long as you 'have' the book (or are working from a workstation whose library contains the book).

Also, prehaps add the option to setup a booth in a town market to hawk your mystic wares (or your general wares, for that matter). Have gettign it setup be part of a minor quest, paying dues to some merchants or guards, etc etc, then have everything you wish to sell have a container you may place it in.

For fortune telling, it'd require at least a crystal ball OR tarrot cards, prehaps add other itels that can be used (varla stones, crystals/jewls, etc etc).

Yes this would, mostly, be a 'do some quick RP dialouge and recive free cash' type thing, but it WOULD add RP to the game, and besides if it was dependent on skill levels for how much you could make you wouldnt make much til you were at master levels, by which time you dont really need the cash (execpt for alchemy, thats easy to master in).
