there are no current modding plans for DA:O atm... but as time goes on, and i and the other various modders here at dc learn its Development Kit, then we should be able to produce more mods, and perhaps at some point in time, release a DCRP for it  but for the time being, the answer is no and welcome to the forums,

also, whilst dao is moddable, there hasn't been sufficient mod resources, but a darp(or dart, lol, dragon age resource title 1 2, or something else, whatever fits your mind, sounds a bit better ) would be very useful. Welcome to the forums also

There are a lot more resources out now then when this thread was first started. There is even a quest mod so it can be done.

One thing DA provided immediately, was a series of videos on modding it. That's something Beth never considered for any of its games. And, I watched a couple of those before DA was even released. However, I'm not sure its as easy for modders or mod users. I've heard of quite a few problems people have had figuring out how to load a mod they got. Perhaps someone could start a thread on how to load mods into DA - from disc and from downloaded games? That could still be quite useful, I think.

Actually Nowena, Beth has provided with some videos regarding modding Fallout 3. Very basic videos, but it is better then nothing.
