Nifscope tip to greatly reducing fps
First of all,
if you have a mod, but the room greatly reduces your frame per second on oblivion, as long as they are just meshes(as in not scripted objects) then you can put the peices together, make the entire room and the objects(so long as they are not movable or a script object) into one mesh. And then upload it to oblivion, it's a slower way, but it greatly reduces slowness. Great for the lowenders(like me). I had found this out while in development on frostcrag tower. Try it for yourself and see the change in fps.
Oh yes, make sure, only 1
scripted objects such as doors and activators should not be included in the 1 mesh, if you do, they lose their purpose and while ingame will be just usless scenery. Let's see the result if you had done this.
If you added a door persay to the one room mesh, if you had clicked on a wall, it would say open door. So the entire room would become the scripted object, so please bear in mind not to do that.
