China calls on U.S. to cancel Obama meeting with Dalai Lama

Prc thinks they can just go tell people what they can and can't do... Notice how they also push their luck by saying to everyones face that they are up to something, "not to meddle in our affairs". I hope Tibet becomes independent, even if it means war... Same for Manhukuo(Manchuria) I may not be from Tibet, but I am filipino, and they are our neighbors, and neighbors look out for each other. PRC obviously does not take that into consideration for the fact that they made just about everyone else in Asia pissed at them for their attitude towards Spratly Islands and Senkaku Islands. Vietnam, another communist country, is also mad at them, just shows something is wrong with PRC

See, the interesting thing here is for the fact that PRC is only a govt. of China, this is why I do not refer to PRC as China, merely PRC(Peoples Republic of China, I have very negative views against them but not China itself, plus it's shorter, lol)

I regained respect for Obama since he was the President who orchistrated Osama's death, and I will have even more respect when he tells PRC to f off but he will be taking a huge step backwards and will lose all my respect if he gives in...

The PRC is feeling its power and trying it out. It will probably push as much as it can and only back off if it thinks there is serious trouble. PRC has become an economic power in the world. Obama giving in to them would be a major bad mistake.

Imagine, all that respect he finally gained, and then it now it will be gone, only because he didn't make it known that antagonizing and provoking others, being arrogant and rubbing your power in other's faces is a no-no for a country.

I can guarantee though, that something is going to end up coming soon. Either internally or externally to China, and seeing as how the way they've been treating their neighbors, I can see the other asian nations getting involved, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, and Malaysia, as far as I know, do not have good relations with PRC as of now, I have heard of Singapore and Brunei, but I have also heard of good things between the 2, so as of now I do not know about those 2, or any others I have not listed that may or may not have good relations with them.

Please remember that every time the Dalai Lama is recognized - in any country - PRC makes threats. I think they feel it is their obligation. But, I have no fears anyone will take them seriously in that. The man is too popular in every country other than China that no one will shun him. The threat was given to the US several times already in the past and he was still welcomed with open arms.

Yes, but in this particular time PRC made some really troubling actions. The reaction of what happened in a South Korean Island of which, got Russia to say they will take on the PRC if they take the wrong side, and they are not really helping themselves by making enemies with their neighbors, but then again since it's PRC I don't think they care much for allies
