 R.I.P King of Pop
Thought I'd make this to pay my respects for the king of pop http://redirectingat.com/?id=593X1004&url=http%3A//www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/06/25/michael.jackson/It didn't happen all of a sudden today, just a few weeks ago and it's still tragic, passing away at 50 is still very young, I, well practically everyone else didn't think he was going to go this soon. Man the world has lost one of it's few people who shined light to others. You'll be missed by all your fans, friends, and families. What's the team's thoughts on this sad moment?

 Re: R.I.P King of Pop
Man the first time I heard about this news was back in the bungie.net forums, I thought "is this some kind of joke?" then I opened the topic and saw the link, directed me to a cnn official story, read everything top to bottom, it was shocking. Then I gave the news to my folks and company, they were shocked and as well thought I was kidding, I turned on cnn and man were they even more shocked. Back in my place, this news will spread even faster, a lot of people over there idolize him, even the prisoners made a dance to tribute him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b6ttoI8vos&feature=relatedhttp://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/06/27/michael.jackson.prisoners.thriller/#cnnSTCVideoDancing in the prisons is a way to help the prisoners think of something other than bs and fighting to eliminate gangs, it makes the prison more happier instead of sad. We only wished Micael jackson was there himself to even perform it.

It's really sad news. I wasn't his fan but I acknowledge his achievements. He will be surely missed and he really changed pop music in the whole world.

Yes. It was very sad. I really enjoyed his later stuff - from Thriller on. I will miss the new stuff he would have made.

Regardless of his other issues, I enjoyed his music. It is always sad when the music is silenced.

 Re: R.I.P King of Pop
Well, the first thing I thought after reading that he had passed away was "WHAT? Michael Jackson can actually DIE?" ... also the german wikipedia already wrote the date when he dead on their article when it wasn't sure already that he had died, so at first I thought it was some kind of sick joke. Also I never imagined that he really could die ... well, what a legend he was. But I think he was never really happy in his life.

 Re: R.I.P King of Pop
A lot of celebrities seem to live short lives. It's really very scary, and very sad. Perhaps it just seems that way since we get to see so much of their lives, but I agree. It doesn't seem possible for someone that well known to us to be gone.

 Re: R.I.P King of Pop
I finally heard some of the music and it pains me to say that some off it is not that bad. But I still dislike the guy, and just look at him is enough to make me instantly dislike his songs, but I can hear them if I not see him Hope you could follow that sentence YugI

 Re: R.I.P King of Pop
I follow you, Yugi I've grown up with his earlier music, so I do still love it...all that stuff that involved his personal life is completely separate for me, from his music. I try not to like nor dislike music any more/less because of the artist...they are still people after all. One of the great qualities of music..it can transcend the artist..speak to anyone of any language or background..unifying, in a way
