Thanks, Nowena. I will change the others. We could make each a different color but I think that would get to look a bit cheesy, garish. It is easy to make the change. :) I would have no idea how to do a background color change.

ION: I am getting absolutely no where with creatinga NPC wandering the roads. This creation kit is impossible. I know I am reasonably intelligent and usually figure things out if I set my mind to it. If I can learn to do anything it is going to be a miracle.

ION 2: The Insurance policy Karin had with Delta reverts to the estate. We have no idea how much it is. Since she got back probably in the fifties I don't imagine much but every little bit helps.

No, it looks fine now.

@ ION 2: You are the executrix. You should be able to ask and be told how much it is. I was able to find out amounts, etc., over the phone for my father's policies.

 Took us a while to get this far. Mary is sending me a form I have to sign. Now I guess we have to prove her parents are dead. They would be over one hundred but that doesn't count. Unforortunately because my mother and Karin's mother did not get along I know very little about them. I did spend time there but never birthdays or things like that. We are hoping Erick might know more. Alan will know what to do. This may take time though.

I don't think Mark has the Man flu because I was feeling find until he stopped by to bring a new micro wave oven, bathroom rug and curtains. The only other person I had any contact with was a pushy guy trying to get to let him fix my roof for 8,000 dollars and that was just through the screen door. Now I have a verly slight fever, snifles and sneezes. Feel tired. Will lie down again.

Oh dear. Well, I haven't been feeling too well today either. Maybe it's just the day. I don't think I have any virus. Probably just lack of sleep catching up with me and maybe something I shouldn't have eaten. My b-i-l begged off the farmer's market today as he wasn't feeling too well either. He's been plagued by headaches and just overall body aches the last couple of days. Hopefully, he will get some sleep tonight and feel much better tomorrow.

Weather has been pretty good and we have been staying in for awhile, just to make sure we don't catch a cold.

Exception was when I took him out to dinner at the Indian Casino yesterday. We both had excellent meals and since Friday is fish night, lots of fish selections. (Smoked salmon, poached salmon, bbq eel, breaded shrimp, coconut shrimp, scallops with veggies, and prime rib.) I also met some nice tourist couples from Illinois. Actually, one was born and raised in Tennesee. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. Said they were headed for Las Vegas on the morrow. Somehow, I think they really like gambling. :)

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Unusally warm. Our temperatures have been mild and the plants have started to grow. If we get a cold snap that will be bad for them.
My sleep patternd are all mixed up now. I just slept for about fours and woke up. May lie back down again and see if I can fall asleep for a couple more hours.

Things have been quiet on the Internet this week end. Monday is Presidents day so maybe at least here in the USA people are doing offline things.

I am having the roof worked on Friday and the electricity will be turned off. They say they can run an extension into the computer and a small heater. I hope they can but I may go out anyway since the place will be very noisy. At least with this done the more costly thing will be out of the way.

How long will they need the electricity off? Don't know if it's relevant in your case or not, but when I was having my floors redone some time ago, the guys doing it told me they would run an extension cord for the refrigerator. It took them 3 or 4 days to finish the floors, and I was worried about my father not having anything to eat or drink there, so I was quite happy about that. Unfortunately, they (the floor workers) were wrong. The refrigerator worked fine while they were working, but as soon as they plugged it back in, it broke. Refused to get cold again. So, I got to buy a new refrigerator.

Probably nothing like your computer and heater.

They haven't come yet and have told Mrk I will have full electricity. I am worried. If there is a problem I will simply turn off the computer or better yet not put it on. I can't afford a new computer or refrigerator. Better the food spoil than that. Supposedly the work should be finished tomorrow. I will be much happier when this is finished. It is the last major thing that has to be done.

Post Re: Real Life Rambles No. 2
A little story here. When I bought the house I did note that electrical wires were run to a post sticking up out of roof. I didn't care for that but there was nothing I could do about out. Then the tree in front of the house planted by township had dead branches, some rather large and one fell on the house and caused the pole with electrical wires to tilt. So the contractor doing the roof got an electrician to fix it. That is why the electricity had to be turned off.

Finally the electrician turned up much later than he said. Mark came in asked me to shut down the computer but said I didn't need to turn it off. ???I said I wanted to unplug the computer and having just read what Nowena said I wanted the regrigerator and TV unplugged. I am afraid I had to be a bit insistent. Mark kept saying that the man was an electrican and knew electricity. I replied yes I am sure he does but that does not mean he knows computers and I do. Even a surge protector is not a 100% guarantee of protection. If I can afford it I want to get something better. Finally got everything unplugged. Things are fixed now. A nice straight pole that looks much better than the old one ever did graces my roof.

Now depending on the rain the contractor will fix the back roof and make sure everything is properly sealed. I have no rain leeks except some drips where the boiler chimney pipe exits and possibly the attic fan. Those will be fixed, That takes care of the major things. Mark and I can work on the attic and other things.

I have no trees in my yard to shed leaves but The neighbors do and the common grounds immediately behind me do so I get a lot of leaves. Guess what the next door neighbor complained not to me but to Pat my other next door neighbor that MY leaves were blowin into her yard. Mark is going to clean them up but I told him that if anyone says anything to point out that they are NOT my leaves. Trolls on the Internet? Forget it the abound every where.
