Post Sonata arctica.
the combination of being sick and having vacation makes me want to do something, and why not make alot of half useful threads on the forums :P

Sonata Arctica, is a Finnish power metal band, that´s been around since 1996. This band is, in my opinion, one of the best bands, with ballads that can make you cry, and more "heavy" music, with rich melody.
Sonata Arctica always have very good lyrics.
Ever heard any of their music ? yes? Join in a dicussion :D If not start listening :D

One of theirs most beautiful/saddest songs :) Tallulah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbQZkqzh ... B&index=64
Another beautiful song :) Shy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxZcFArCeKs
One of the more power type songs :D Don´t say a word :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2SGIzjg ... xt_from=PL

Ps Scythe, you said at a point you would like the forums to look more used :P This is my contribution :D

Sweet Yugi, I like "Don't Say a Word" the best, although it could partly be because I had too much caffeine today and don't have the mood for a ballad. But Don't Say a Word is perfect for going on a video game killing spree ;)

Question though: all of their songs are in English? Do they just sing an English version to be bi-lingual or do they normally sing in English?

I believe all their songs are in English, but I might be wrong ;) I believe they do it because they are a band that sings in english. Don´t know if that´s answering you question. ?

Yugi
Ps I can image "Don´t say a word" Is good for a killing spree,
