Steve jobs is high no offense
http://www.pcworld.com/article/190596/apple_sues_htc_claiming_20_patent_infringements.htmlhttp://www.pcworld.com/article/190746/will_apples_patents_banish_htc_phones.html?tk=rel_newshttp://www.pcworld.com/article/190570/apple_sues_htc_for_patent_infringement.htmlSorry, but I have lost all my respect for apple now, sure, they may have been releasing mediocre products like the ipad(aka bigger version of iphone), that's their products, but when they try to go after good companies like htc and good software like android, all I have to say is... well many things actually but I won't post here, you definitely know what I mean. Apparently apple claims one of their "innovations" is the touch gesture that has been stolen, but weren't they accused of the very same thing just a few months ago? Lol they are turning worser than ms as bad as they were before, and ms is just rising up imo. It's not just htc they want legal action against, look at the first article, it's against alot of major companies their against, ms, htc, google, android(it was mobile alliance somehting that made android but forgot name). Sorry for the Apple fans but I'm waiting to lmao when the judge calls bs on this case. Infact, I already am. I just hope apple doesn't do anything sneaky because the htc evo 4g is comin out(amazing phone check the specs) and since apple is calling to ban all htc phones running android, I will be pissed if they actually manage to get their ways. Here's my perspective of apple, they've gone corrupt. Their going anti-competitive. Ms should've let them die off than have invested into them a few years back(literally saving their a$$), don't believe me? Check apple's history... you will find a ton of interesting stuff in there. Btw yeah I'm back hehe sorry for the rude awakening but seriously this is just insane what apple has turned into.

I think - outside of Apple fanatics and I apologize if I offend any of those - that Apple is just proving they are a corporation, not a movement. If they can cause problems with their competitors, they will do so at any opportunity. It means more money for them if they are the only game in town.
PS: Glad to see you back, Ronin.

Yeah they are also just showing they want to engage in a monopoly that when people start to notice, it will already be too late. Although I am glad to hear the supreme court is take a careful look at the setup of the patenting system and is making changes as we speak, theoretically speaking, they are agreeing that apple's charges are out of proportion. Yes oh and glad we have a new mod

I hadn't heard that about the Supreme Court, but I am glad to know of it. (I'm staying away from the news lately, as it is getting me stressed and into pointless arguments.)

No kidding, especially with the recent things happening. This topic itself can start outrageous fights, as in some people might think apple's long list of lawsuits are justified, some don't, some might think they really did make touchscreen, however they didn't hehe. Touchscreen wasn't made by apple, the exact origin I am unsure but about touch, multitouch(what they are freaking out about too) originated in a university.

The relationship between Apple and Microsoft has never been friendly. Microsoft has managed to become the most popular OS developer and Apple fights for its life. Probably some lawsuits are justified and others not but just started to cause problems for Microsoft.
Personally I think Microsoft needs as much competition as is possible or else it will become mediocre.

That's very true infact, if you noticed, Ms is only good most of the time when their going into competition, if not, their mediocre, just look at their KIN's for example, they don't have much incentive to push forward. But apple is afraid of competition, and it isn't even against microsoft this time, it's against everybody... and not it's not an exageration of the topic, their literally wanting to sue everyone, not just ms, not just htc.

All I can say is 'good luck to them'. Maybe they are hoping the publicity will help them. Perhaps they figure if they sue everyone they'll hit the jack pot with one of their cases.

Ah if their asking for publicity help, their in no luck, almost everyone disagrees with them, the tools are the ones that actually feel for them. But with their long list, I can definitely say their probably trying to gamble and see which one they land on lol.

Re: Steve jobs is high no offense
I rather like to see competition in development for MS. I hate it when the competition is just a way to put one company out of business. And, yes, I think the competition is what distinguishes the differences between Apple and MS. Apple has always tried to keep competition away from whatever they come up with. MS might want to, but other than a few obvious attempts that ended up being too well publicized to do much good, they failed in that department and us consumers were the real winners. I think Apple would be in a much better shape if Mr. Jobs had allowed more in their areas. People seem to need to see alternatives before they really appreciate what they get.
