What is the name of the flask in your inventory? Is it called silver flask or is it called Cure Disease and just happens to be a silver flask?

This is what I was trying to determine, too :) It could just be a retextured renamed Cure Disease potion. But you'll need to get yourself diseased to find out!

It's definitely from the CURP ESM, since the Form ID matches the ESM's load position, plus it still occurs with no other ESMs and ESPs active.

The following console command should give you a disease:

player.addspell 000A9823

The potion works like a proper cure disease potion. The command didnt quite work but i managed to get infected with a little help of local mudcrabs :D. I dont think its just a retexture because the formid is different and if i load game without CURP the potion disepears from my inventory. Also wrye function of seting max weight of potion doesnt work and the value of silver flask is only 2.
As long as it works as cure disease im not going to worry too much, I guess ill come across more serious bugs in Oblivion soon .

there are unique potions in dcrp/curp...

giskard added in special potion bottles, so any spawns that use the dcrp leveled lsits, OR player made potions (provided the player dose not have other mods affecting this...) the player made potions will use these new potions... i made a potion, and got giskards new potions, as apposed to the standerd... its a new item, to offer compatiblity with mods that edit the standered potion :)

hope that makes some sense :P

Yep, these were "Jannix's" Potions and were intended to be only cosmetic and should not change anything on functionality and/or weight/costs.

(Sorry for the topic-hijack, but I feel the need to elaborate on this. ;) )
The issue that I had with them, was the infamous NV-blackscreen bug.
Running on an NV 7950GT with H.D.R. & internal shadows on. I did use the fix on several of the esp's/esm's from within Wrye Bash, but I still got it occasionally.
The potions concerned were among others: Cure Disease and Cure Paralysis. As soon as I entered a room where they were displayed or if I had one in my inventory and dropped it in front of me: Black Screen! I do have a workaround for this, so I was not to concerned about it anymore.

If it has been done for compatiblity reasons it makes sense, although I think It could be done in more transparent fashion for the user ie preserving vanilla's look and attributes.
Ok, now back to the game :)

@Kosh never run across that bug, is it affecting nvidia cards only?

Uh, raf, it was done that way to make it both compatible and to preserve vanilla's look and attributes. Any Cure Disease or Cure Paralysis that were added by the vanilla game will still appear exactly as it did before. These are in addition to vanilla's, not instead of.

And, yes. The nvidial black screen bug only happens with nvidia cards as far as I know. It can be cured, though, by removing interior shadows. That's what I did.

If CyrodiilUpgradeResourcePack.esm is active in my load order im unable to create vanilla's cure disease potion. The cure disease potion I get has a look, weight and price of silver flask from CURP. It stil works like cure disease so its not a big deal, Im just curious if there is a way to fix it.

When I find the time this week, I will give it a try and brew such a potion, just to verify.
I haven't tried it in a long time, because I frequently use spells to cure my/other NPC's diseases.

Raf? I suspect the problem is not in DCRP (CURP) but in another mod you have loaded. Mostly likely a conflict somewhere that just shows up this way.

The reason for my suspicions is that the problem you describe is one that would have been noticed and complained about immediately if it were a part of the resource pack. Do keep in mind that the resource pack DOES NOT replace vanilla resources. The resource pack instead adds new ones and then only when another mod calls for them. The resource pack will NOT put ANYTHING into your game unless ANOTHER mod is using the ID listed in the resource pack for that item and then puts it into the game.
